What is Messy Church?

Messy church is church, but not as you know it!

It’s a form of church for children and adults that involves using creativity with arts and crafts to explore faith, and includes a free sandwich community lunch.

It’s for people of all ages, and all stages of faith and is great for those who don’t already attend another form of church.
Its fun, and models a good way of growing as a family, both nuclear, extended and church family.

Children must have a responsible adult with them.

Each Sunday we will follow a theme around an aspect of faith in God, and use arts and crafts, story and song to explore that theme. There will be a number of different activities throughout the morning, fun for all to do and will finish by sharing a free sandwich community lunch together.

Where and When is Messy Church?

Where?
Messy Church is at the Meadows Community Centre.

When?
Messy Church starts at 11am-12.15pm, on the 1st Sunday of every month.

Community Lunch
From 12.15-12.45pm we host a community family lunch which is free to anyone who comes to Messy Church.
Places at the free community lunch need to be booked so we know how much food to bring, but you don’t need to book to come to Messy Church.

Parking @ Meadows Community Centre: Please be aware that there is limited paid car parking at the venue. There are lots of bike spaces. There is free street parking on nearby St Alban's Road and St Catharine's Road

Messy Church is open to all and you do not need to sign up to join us. Please sign up if you would like to join us afterwards for our community lunch
