Cambridge Vineyard Youth

A place for connection.
A place for community.
Vision
Our vision for youth is to ignite a passion in their hearts, setting them on fire for Jesus. Through connection and community, we seek to help them build a strong foundation of faith, empowering the next generation to live boldly for Christ and make a lasting impact in the world.
We aim to create a space where young people can connect with God, deepen their relationship with Him, and build meaningful connections with him and others. Above all, we want to nurture a strong sense of community that empowers them to go out and make a difference in the world, spreading the good news of Jesus everywhere, in every way in their everyday lives.
At Cambridge Vineyard our vision for all ages is that we gather in God’s presence, are transformed by the Holy Spirit and go to love and serve.

Youth @ Sunday Morning Gathering
Youth looks different each week at Sunday Morning Gathering:
3rd Sunday of each Month
Youth remain in the service during worship and head out to Ignite at the morning break point.
Youth are signed in on arrival at the youth room by a youth leader.
2nd & 4th Sunday of each Month
We encourage our young people to join a team and serve once a month, while also providing them with an opportunity to take one Sunday a month to rest and listen to the talk.
*On the 1st Sunday of each month, Cambridge Vineyard meets for Messy Church and Simple Worship. Find our more about Sundays.
Ignite (11-18yrs)
Ignite is our Sunday morning youth provision for 11-18 year olds (Year 7-Year 13) where every young person can discover what it truly means to follow Jesus and live with purpose. Ignite meets on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
The word “ignite” means to set something on fire or start a spark. It’s about lighting up something that has the potential to grow, and spread.
In the context of Ignite this represents the idea of sparking a passion for faith, creating a desire to grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus, and the excitement of living out their God given purpose.
Safeguarding
At Cambridge Vineyard we place great importance in keeping our children and adults safe. All our Kids and Youth teams are DBS checked. If you have any concerns please contact our safeguarding lead Jude Harbour in the first instance. You can view our safeguarding policy here.
Youth Socials
Alongside Sunday Youth there are regular socials throughout the year. We gather during term time (7.30pm - 9pm) (Location will be given nearer the time).
Youth socials are for those in Year 7-11 and are a fun time together with food, games, music and a faith inspired discussion.
Young people from any background or faith are welcome.

Dreaming The Impossible
Dreaming the Impossible is a youth movement for youth aged 12-18 from churches and youth organisations everywhere and is run by Vineyard Churches UK & Ireland. DTI is about inspiring and equipping young people to love God, love others and change the world.
DTI is held at the Stafford Showground THIS SUMMER from 2-7 August 2025. It's an amazing time of worship, teaching, seminars, and lots of fun! There’ll be lots to get up to in the daytime with sports, activities, funfair rides, different cafes and venues…as well as evening entertainment!
Check out the DTI Website.

The Space venue is available throughout our Gathering as a breakout room should any adult, young person or child feel the need for a calmer environment for a while.
The Space is available to use as a parent-led play and stay room. There are toys and crafts set up in the room.
